How to submit a proposal (Author)

You will need to register for a User account with the journal if you do not have one already.

1. When you log into the journal site, you will be on a page called Submissions.

2. Click the New Submission button. This will start the Submit an Article process.

3. On the first page (1. Start):

a. Select the Section you are submitting to

b. Check off the Submission Requirements

c. Leave Comments for the Editor (optional)

d. Check the box agreeing to the copyright policy

e. Check the box agreeing to the privacy statement

f. Click Save and continue

4. On the second page (2. Upload Submission):

a. Upload your file

b. Once your file upload is complete, you will see text that says "What kind of file is this?" Select Proposal

c. Click Save and continue

5. On the third page (3. Enter Metadata)

a. Enter the Title

b. Enter the Abstract

c. If you have co-authors, click Add Contributor to add each one separately:

i. In the Add Contributor window, enter the author’s Name

ii. Under Contact, enter the author’s email address

iii. Select the Country (this is a mandatory field but does not appear anywhere on the website)

iv. Select the Contributor’s Role

v. Then, click Save

vi. Repeat the Add Contributor process for all authors

6. On the fourth page (4. Confirmation)

a. Click Finish Submission

b. In the Confirmation pop-up, click OK

7. You are now finished and can wait for further communications from the editors.
